The striking surface is made of parabwood, and the other side uses Chipboard (= Particle Board) which is one of the recycled materials that have been finished using a method of strengthening processing.
The Chipboard is also used as an acoustic speaker body material to provide a good balance of vibration and sound absorption, providing moderate sustain and adequate bass.
The interior is equipped with snappy similar to snare drums, and combined with the parabood used in the hitting surface, it also supports high pitch slap sounds.
